This year once again, Fondazione Prossimo Mio renews its commitment to supporting the Fondazione Visitatrici per la Maternità Ada Bolchini Dell’Acqua ETS by contributing to the purchase of diapers and powdered milk for families facing the greatest hardship. These essential goods will be distributed free of charge, providing tangible support during the first months of a child’s life.
For over a century, the Foundation has been a point of reference for mothers in difficulty, offering support, attentive listening, and closeness during the most delicate moments of motherhood. Among its most significant initiatives is Casa Costanza, a facility located just a short distance from the Ospedale Policlinico di Milano, where mothers and fathers can stay close to their hospitalized children, who are often born prematurely or affected by complex medical conditions.
A key role is also played by the volunteer “visitatrici,” who provide continuous support and listening both before and after childbirth. They are active in several maternity wards within the same hospital, helping to build a network of human and professional support for families.
