A Century of Care for Mothers and Babies
For over a century, the Fondazione Visitatrici per la Maternità Ada Bolchini Dell’Acqua has been a key point of reference for mothers in difficulty and their children, providing concrete and continuous support since 1924.
Over the years, the Foundation has promoted numerous projects within the Ospedale Policlinico di Milano, with a particular focus on the humanization of hospital environments. These include decorative painting interventions in the departments of Pediatric Surgery, the Mangiagalli Breast Clinic, Pediatric Audiology, and the Perinatal Psychology outpatient clinic. The artworks were created by designer Sally Galotti, with the aim of making healthcare spaces more welcoming and patient-centered.
This year as well, Fondazione Prossimo Mio reaffirms its support for the Foundation by contributing to the free distribution of powdered milk and diapers to families in need, providing tangible help during the first months of a child’s life.
